Postcards From Paris
Until I get home later in January, I am going to post regular postcards from the trip as often as time and Internet access allows. With that, in mind, this is the first one form Paris.
Several suspicious fellows were seen in line for the Louvre museum. Security was on high alert, but didn’t seem to notice these two. They spent the day wandering the endless halls of priceless art and thoroughly enjoying themselves.
The Eiffel Tower can be scary…..not to worry, it’s only a copy. The street sellers create a whole new meaning to aggressive here.
The fountain and the pyramid are an interesting combination.
The Canon 1Dx is amazing in low light These shots are pretty well out of the camera, with an ISO setting of 12800 (yes, that is not a typo). Although this is not the max ISO, it’s about the highest I like before the noise becomes a problem. I am still getting used to shooting in conditions that would normally scream for a flash. What an amazing camera.
